About PAAFPRS

The Pan Asia Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (PAAFPRS) is an international, non-profit medical society headquartered in Hong Kong. Our mission is to advance the art and science of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery throughout Asia and around the world.

Our members are physicians and surgeons who are certified by their respective national medical boards and have specialized training and experience in surgery of the face, head, and neck. While we proudly represent professionals across the Asian continent, our membership is open to qualified practitioners globally, making PAAFPRS a truly international community.

Our Mission

PAAFPRS was founded to promote scientific progress, innovation, and collaboration in facial plastic surgery. Through high-quality education and professional fellowship, we aim to elevate surgical skills and patient care standards across the region.

Our Vision

To establish PAAFPRS as the most trusted and advanced hub for facial plastic surgery training in Asia, where knowledge is shared, innovation thrives, and every surgeon, regardless of geography, has access to world-class education, mentorship, and collaboration.

International Recognition

As a recognized member society of the International Federation of Facial Plastic Surgery Societies (IPFPRS), we serve as a key conduit for members seeking International Board Certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstruction Surgery (IBCFPRS).

Many of our members have successfully attained certification from the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstruction Surgery, further demonstrating our global standards and influence.

The prime purpose of our Academy is to foster interest and encourage interaction for residents and surgical practitioners in this type of regional specialty practice.
