PAAFPRS is under the process of initiating Fellowship and Observership Programs in Facial Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery under its auspices with the aim of providing a comprehensive high-quality post-graduate educational program for budding facial plastic surgeons.
These training opportunities will be available under the mentorship of experienced and respected surgeons who are internationally recognized leaders in facial plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. These fellowships will focus on holistic care of the facial plastic patients and will provide an exceptional educational opportunity for gaining knowledge and skills that will translate into improvement in patient's quality of life and self-esteem. One of the aims of our fellowship program is to promote development of facial plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery in Asia. Applicants who complete a 1-year fellowship program from PAAFPRS approved fellowship program will be expected to undertake the International Board Certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (IBCFPRS) administered by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS).
